The brown 7', 3wt, 5-piece S-Glass Fiberglass Fly Rod Blank makes the perfect travel rod. Broken down it measures a mere 18". It connects via a tip over ferrule system. Each Section slides into the next section without the need for spigots. This compact lightweight blank is a medium/fast action blanks that is ideal for transporting into and casting from hard to reach places. It also comes with its own black rod sock. When thinking about outfitting this blank, we carry an assortment of reel seats and cork grips to meet your needs.

    Great blank and a great color in a packable format!! I built a few of these out for friends and coworkers to have in their overnight/out of county bags just in case they come across some fishable water on their downtime!!! I keep a few of these blanks on hand as the requests for them keep coming in!!! Makes a beautiful 3wt!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

    This blank turned into a nice small stream rod. Casts well with a DT 3 line.

    This is one of the nicest blanks I’ve seen at this price point. The fit and finish are great. Nice action on the blank.

    Great blank for mid weight pond rod

    This has become my hopper tosser as with a SA 3wt (3.5 actual) it will throw anything i hook to it. It is a slightly heavy blank but has such a great feel that I have 2 extras just to build for friends. Lined correctly the blank is capable of very tight loops and pinpoint placement. Hope it comes back in stock.
