GB Fly Shop's gunmetal engraved up-locking fly rod reel seat with burled wood insert is a beautiful piece that spares no attention to detail. The engraved rings add detailed flare to an already perfect reel seat. Made from machined cut aluminum it is lightweight as well as durable. It is ideal for 2wt to 4wt rods.

    I originally purchased 2 so I could could check them out. The picture does not do them justice and I cannot wait until more are in so I can order them to put on my bamboo flyrods

    The picture does not do this reel seat justice! It is striking. I was expecting something more along the lines of the etched reel seats I had purchased in the past. But, this seat is actually engraved. It looks and works great on the 9' 5 weight rod I built.
