The matte black 8'2", 2/3wt, 4-piece ultra-light carbon fiber fly rod blank is one of the newest blanks to the GB Fly Shop line up. The light weight blank, moderate action flex and low line weight make this the perfect blank for getting into smaller out of the way places, like small creeks and streams where roll casting is a must. It features a tip over butt ferrules system and comes in its own black rod sock.

    This is an awesome rod. It is very light weight and has a more moderate action, which I prefer. Finished out, mine turned out at 2.6 ounces. The length isn't 8'2" though. It measured out 8' 1/2", but missing an inch and half wasn't a deal breaker for an ultralight rod.

    Really surprised by the crispness of this blank. Bought a few more and will be looking for more when available.
