GB Fly Shop's orange/green/orange weighted forward floating fly line 5wt is 100’ in length and features welded loops on each end for easier leader tying. With a 30’ or so weighted front end it allows the line to shoot quickly from the guides to cover more water, which is also helpful for long accurate cast. This is a prime choice line for beginners looking to experience long casts.

I was quite pleased with the line considering the cost. I fished it for several days and really just don't have any complaints about it. It works as it should, slides through the guides well, floats and peels off the water fine, and the wf taper feels like it should on my 5wt. I would compare it to Cabelas prestige lines which are double the cost. I would certainly buy again and hope to see more size and color choices in the future. If you need more than this to catch a trout, you may be doing it wrong ;-)
