Our pink 9’, 5wt, 4-piece fly rod blank is a medium-fast action carbon fiber fly rod blank. This blank makes a great rod for the entry level beginner, as well as the extremely experienced angler. It is an accurate blank that is also very responsive and is ideal for all types of flies. It has a tip over butt ferrule system and comes in its own black rod sock.

    I haven’t gotten to use the blank yet. With that being said I rated the product 5 star due to the speed of shipping. Got it me in about 5 days I believe. To Alaska that’s not bad. After inspecting the blank its looks like it’ll be a good blank. Coloring of the blank is great. Only thing I think should be upgraded is the rod sock that it comes in. I get it’s just a blank and they don’t always come with rod socks. But if you’re going to include one maybe make it worth it ? Just a thought but all In all I’m so far very satisfied with the product. I will come on and update or write another review once the rod has been built and fished. Then I can give a true review z
