The matte grey 9’, 8wt 4-piece carbon fiber fly rod blank is made from IM12 carbon and features a moderate action flex which loads with precision. This blank has a nice classic action flex that allows you to accurately whip the fly right where you want it. This blank is also a newer addition to our GB Fly Shop's stock and is quickly becoming a popular match to our Matte Grey 7'9" and 8’6” blanks.

    Haven’t built it yet, but I built a rod with the same thing in a 6wt and love it. Took it on a trip to Colorado and it performed better than I expected. Great smooth action and loads perfectly.
