Our matte green 7'9", 3wt, 4-piece fly rod blank is another blank in our series of matte green fast action carbon fiber fly rod blanks. The length and action of this blank make it perfect for small trout or your favorite sunfish. It is very responsive and extremely accurate. It is the ideal blank for small creeks, streams and ponds. It has a tip over butt ferrule system and comes in its own black rod sock.

    Finished the rod this past weekend. Mounted an old Battenkill II with a super supple 3wt. Feels great in my hand. Good balance. Have not fished it yet, but in the backyard it easily turns over the line and accurately places the fly in my dog’s Frisbee 4 out of 5. casts.

    This is my second 7'9" 3wt build, just like the first this one did not disappoint. Blank quality was very good, and created a nice light, nimble 3wt perfect for smaller streams or bluegill fishing.
