The matte grey 8'6", 4wt 4-piece carbon fiber fly rod blank is made from IM12 carbon and features a moderate action flex which loads with precision. This blanks flexible tip allows you to accurately whip the fly right where you want it. It is also a newer addition to our GB Fly Shop stock and is quickly becoming a popular choice that matches our Matte Grey 7'9" blank. It is the perfect choice for the types of springs and streams we have right here in Missouri.

    Just finished up the build on this rod, the very first cast and I can already tell you this will be my new go to rod, casting is effortless and it balanced out perfect. Very impressed.

    This is a very nice blank. Lightweight and fun to cast. After my build I paired it with a 5wf line and it feels better than the 5wt rod I had.
