Our matte black 9’, 6wt, 4-piece fly rod blank is a blank in our series of 40T (IM12) carbon fiber fast action fly rod blanks. The accuracy of this blank makes it the perfect choice for throwing streamers and especially poppers along the bank, making large and smallmouth bass the perfect prey for rods built on this blank. It has a tip over butt ferrule system and it also comes in its own black rod sock.

    Great blank! Built a rod for a trip to Colorado and it performed perfectly. Great action and handled the bigger fish easily. Bought another one to build for my friend that only buys Sage rods, because he tried the one I built for Colorado and loved it
