Our hard chrome brass plated UL Fly Rod Reel Seat with Maple Burl is one of our heavier more durable reel seats. The up-locking style of this seat is more traditional especially when match with a full wells or reverse half wells cork grip. As for the arbor, maple wood is incredibly strong, looks great, and is known for its light smooth grain pattern. Not to mention it is impressively durable.
