Our matte green 9’, 4wt, 4-piece fly rod blank is a blank in our series of matte green fast action carbon fiber fly rod blanks. This blank makes a great rod for the entry level beginner, as well as, the extremely experienced angler. It is an accurate blank that is also very responsive and is ideal for all types of flies. It has a tip over butt ferrule system and comes in its own black rod sock.

    Thanks for continuing to do such a nice job. I build rods strictly as a hobby, often for those new to fly fishing. You deliver quickly and I’ve been happy with everything I’ve received. *For this order, you’ll notice I requested a glossy green and a matte green blank. You sent two matte green ones and did not send the glossy. I was under a time crunch to have the rods done for Christmas, so I just built two matte rods. I also believe I liked them better. I don’t want you to change anything at all, just an FYI. They turned out great.

    I've now built 2 rods with these blanks and am very happy. The quality is on par with other much more expensive blanks I've used. The matte finish isn't my favorite, but that's a personal choice. Overall it's impossible to beat these blanks for value.
