GB Fly Shop's metallic green 8’, 1wt 4-piece ultra-light carbon fiber fly rod blank has to be one of our most amazing blanks, not to mention one of our best sellers. For such a lightweight blank, it is extremely durable. As a medium action blank, it has the right flex to go the distance.     This is an awesome blank with even better customer service! I messed up and broke my blank (100% my fault) and they took care of me no questions asked. I can’t recommend them enough. I will most definitely continue buying from them in the future.

    Looks good. The butt diameter was.325 (8.25MM).

    Great little blank straight and a little fast. The color initially put me off however building it with a un treated greed silk gave it a cool look

    Just built my first rod using this blank. The finished rod is very light, well balanced and a joy to use on small creeks . highly recommended.

    I've built three of these for myself and friends, hard to find one weight blanks of this quality and it makes a well balanced rod and a great 'creeker".
